Our day out today was as lovely as yesterday’s was dreary.

Pennywell Farm sits on top of a hill and overlooks pretty much the whole of the South Hams.

The views are sublime, especially on a clear, blue, warm, friendly day like today.
After the battering my senses took at the Zoo, being in this simple, wholesome place was soothing and life-giving.

Today I felt unrushed, unhassled, peaceful. The children ran around, rode on toy tractors and giant slides, and they fed some goats.

It was a welcome breath of fresh air after the aggressive environment I subjected myself to about 24 hours ago.

Grateful, today, that yesterday was yesterday, and that He, my kind and generous Daddy God, knows my heart inside out.
